How to Connect on LinkedIn without an Email Address

LinkedIn ConnectionsWhen you want to connect with someone on LinkedIn, you are often presented with the question, “How do you know____?” If you’ve worked with the person in the past or know them from school, it’s as simple as checking the appropriate option. However, if you are trying to connect with someone that you’ve not met before, it can be a bit more difficult.

If you have their email address, you can use the “Other” or “I don’t Know ___” options and enter their email address.

I caution you on using the “Friend” option unless you are truly friends. Using this option freely gives the wrong first impression and often leads to your invitation being ignored or marked as spam.

But, what do you do if none of these options apply and you don’t have their email address? This video will demonstrate how to send a personalized invitation to connect to your 2nd degree connections.
